Fish Midlands Champion!
MAP’s Dale Jackson takes Fish Midlands title!
In a week which has seen many finals take place and champions crowned, following the recent semi-final the Fish Midlands Final was heading to MAP Marston Fields where a star-studded field assembled to do battle for the title and a £12,000 cheque!
After five hours of competitive fishing where the lead changed hands several times, it was MAP backed, Dale Jackson who topped the field with an excellent 162lb 6oz from Pine peg 2.

A delighted Dale spoke to us after the match adding: “What a day! I’ve had an amazing match today and to win the final against such a quality field is something that makes the win even more pleasing.
Tactics wise I’ve caught most of my fish on a bread feeder across to the far bank with a few fish late on the short pole line.
I’d like to say a huge thank you to MAP for their continued support of myself and MAP Marston Fields Fishery, I couldn’t do it without you.
A big well done to 2nd place Ben Handley and 3rd placed Andy Power too, they have put in brilliant performances on the pegs they drew.”
Dale’s impressive win makes it a regional double for MAP anglers, with Alex Clements winning Fish South just a couple of weeks ago, well done from everyone at MAP!
